The New Zealand Materials Research Society was created in December 19, 2006. They are a community of engineers and scientists that cater to the community of the various fields of materials science and engineering.
Some of their fields include materials design and selection, nano materials, metallurgy and many more. They act as a network of information for the community of materials science and provide information exchange, collaboration, public research and conferences for their members.
